SunnyAdventures is bagging Fullhouse (6 lists of hills of SMC total 1124 hills) challenging raise money for Scottish Mountain Rescue Teams in memory of Sunny's birthday buddy climbing tutor Steve Perry to mark their big Five O.

Steve Perry The most active, prolific mountaineer that Scotland has ever produced. With his climbing partner Andy Nisbet( UK climbing book writer and guide) were gargantuan and inspiring figures in Scotland's mountaineering scene. They were killed Feb 2019 on Ben Hope while completing a new winter route. Steve Perry  is a well-known mountaineer, who listed new routing in winter Scotland as one of his favorite climbing experiences. Their deaths are a huge loss to the mountaineering community. They left a massive legacy irreplaceable and priceless. 

Aiming to complete all the lists over the next 2.5years. Currently there are 73 people registered Fullhouse completion with Scottish Mountaineering Club, hoping to be still within the 100 by the time sunny complete the challenge. The list: 282 Munros 226 Munro tops 222 Corbetts 219 Grahams 89 Donalds 52 Donald tops 34 Furths. SMC website below.

Mountain Rescue Teams are formed by amazing highly skilled volunteers who go out rescue mountain users in need in various adverse conditions put their own life at risk without getting paid. I always take hat off to these guys. Any hour, Any day, Any weather......volunteering to help save lives.

About the charity

Scottish Mountain Rescue represents 25 volunteer Mountain Rescue Teams in Scotland. Our 850 volunteers respond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Funding is used to support our 25 member teams.
