An integral part of the Sunoco Whelen Challenge is the money we collect on behalf of the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research. On race day every year we present a cheque to Sonny Whelen on behalf on the charity to help find a cure for this terrible disease. Over the Sunoco Challenge has helped raise tens of thousands of pounds for the cause.
