About his condition - Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a catherstophic disease. It is the most common fatal genetic disorder to affect children around the world. If you have it, you can not produce dystrophin, a protein you need to build up your muscles. As a result, every muscle in the body deteriorates. It affects majority 99% in boys and 1% of girls. At the moment there is no cure.
