Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Every year the new Captains at Surbiton Golf Club choose a charity to support. This year we chose Diabetes UK because both of us have had a family member suffer from Type 1 diabetes for many years. Today diabetes affects over 4 million people in the UK and it's estimated another 500,000 don't yet know they suffer from it. The impact on the individual and his or her family can be significant. We want to help find out what causes Type 1 diabetes as we still don't know. And we want to help find a cure.
