Great Midlands Fun Run 2019 · 2 June 2019 ·

10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.

Story

My husband had Ataxia which is a neurological condition that affects your balance, coordination and speech. Unfortunately there isn't a cure, so I myself have set up a support group so people with Ataxia can come together to share there knowledge of the condition and raise awareness by doing different fundraising events. I now run two support groups.
This is now the second time I'll be participating. I now have a time to beat! I
No matter what the amount it will be put to good use and will be greatly appreciate.
Thanks
Sue
