In memory of Matt Aspden
We help people living with sight loss and other disabilities to achieve their ambitions and go beyond expectations. We believe wherever they are, everyone has the right to an independent and fulfilling life. Our support enables people and their families to build skills and develop confidence.

Story

Henshaws is a charity that supports people with sight loss.  They help people to be as independent as they can be and to move through their sight loss journey and to live their lives as they want them to be.  Matt joined a course in 2016 at a local branch in Manchester to do just that.  After the course Matt was driven by wanting to give back and he started volunteering with Henshaws.  Matt wanted to help others & to make it as easy as he could for anyone willing to listen and learn.  The donations will go direct to the Community Services Knowledge Village as that was the area & service that supported Matt and in turn, he kindly supported.
