Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my justgiving page

I’m sure you’ve all heard of the Samaritans, and many of you know I’ve been a volunteer for a few years now. But did you know The Herefordshire branch of Samaritans was founded in November 1972, that makes it our 50th birthday this year! The branch has been offering emotional support both locally and nationally all that time. Hereford’s branch is led and run by volunteers and are supported by fundraising events like this! We have to raise our own funds so the branch can remain open for all those in emotional distress.
So spread the word, 6th August 2.30pm onwards, all are welcome to come and enjoy the beautiful gardens of Holywell Farm, Dinedor, Herefordshire, HR2 6PF courtesy of Pam & Mike Rayer (my surrogate parents!) and maybe learn more about the Samaritans and how your donations help. So come on your own or with your father/mother/ sister /brother /girlfriend or boyfriend (kids are welcome too) or anyone who’s hungry there will be cakes galore ! So bring your appetites and loads of money, and enjoy a beautiful afternoon in the wonderful surroundings.

If you can’t come please think about sending a donation any amount would be gratefully received, every penny counts. Here’s my just giving page details: www.justgiving.com/Susan-Griffiths14
