Herts for Refugees are a small local charity who work with other organisations to ensure that refugees get the support and respect they deserve.

They do this by:

• Raising money, to fund projects across Europe.

• Collecting and distributing donations to refugees in camps.

• Volunteering in refugee camps and donations warehouses.

  Over the next 4 months, Herts for Refugees are joining with 24 other teams to have a collaborative, combined impact in Lesvos, where there are over seven thousand refugees.

  Many are stuck in camps in dire conditions with minimum provision. Think Calais Jungle but worse.

  Outside these camps are fantastic charitable volunteer support teams, who provide, hope, comfort, company, food, clothing and basic aid needs.

  Please donate to this worthwhile cause - I have very little to wish for but so many people have nothing.
