On Saturday August 20th 2011 myself, my son Steven and his fiancé Daniella are planning to cycle from Ashbourne to Hurdlow and back again on the Tissington/High Peak Trail, a total distance of 30 miles. My husband John suffers from an aggressive type of vasculitis called Wegeners Granulomatosis, he is now chairman of Vasculitis-uk (SSVT). 

Over the past 2 years I have met and talked to so many lovely people who have vasculitis or a member of their family or friend who has vasculitis. Some people raise money to  support the aims of the Trust, which are to support people who have vasculitis, raise awareness of the disease and to support research into the causes, diagnosis and treatments of the disease. 

For the three of us, this is our own way of helping the cause. If anyone would like to join us on this sponsored cycle ride please contact me.
