Story
I’ve spent the last year growing my hair with the intention of cutting 9 inches off to donate to the little princess trust, they provide a free wig to the little girls who've lost their hair because of cancer treatments.
Cancer is a terrible disease and brings about so much fear. I can’t imagine the fear a little girl feels when she loses her hair & no longer believes she’s a princess.
Im often told how lovely my hair is, I complain it’s thick, I can’t manage it & I can’t do nothing with it.
THANKYOU to the hairdressers from Simply You in chester le street for helping me see how lucky I am to have such strong healthy hair. They helped me see how beneficial my hair would be to a little girl.
Having long hair is a privilege, a privilege I want to share. In doing so I'm hoping you will donate a little cash which will then go towards St cuthberts hospice. The hospice provides care and respite to patients with cancer both during their treatment and end of life care.
The hospice were amazing at the end of my Dads life . They supported all our family and made his last days comfortable, respectful and peaceful. I’'m forever in their debt . By doing this I'm helping two amazing causes that support cancer patients, theses charities need our help and donations. Statistics show 1 in 3 people will have cancer in their life.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
