Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Hastings Half Marathon on Sunday 21st March 2010 and aiming to raise as much money as I can for the Haemophilia Society.
The Haemophilia Society is the only national and independent organisation for all people affected by bleeding disorders. They offer essential information and support for all people and their families affected by bleeding disorders and provide a range of services from a freephone helpline, to benefits advice, events (including children activity holidays) and campaigning. Without people donating or raising money none of this would be possible.
The son of a close friend of mine has severe haemophilia B and the Haemophilia Society has provided them with essential literature and booklets for the family to learn how to recognise a bleed, deal with toddler bumps and tumbles, important information for teachers and carers and much more support via their helpline and website.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you
