Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 4th November 2018, Susan Broadhurst, wife, daughter, friend and incredible mother, lost her 14 year battle with cancer. Susan fought bravely and with dignity throughout and was an inspiration to those that knew her.

In her final few weeks, St Columba's Hospice in Edinburgh provided incredible care and support, both to Susan and her family. Initially an outpatient, Susan spent the last week of her life as an inpatient being cared for at the hospice by the incredible staff who showed compassion beyond compare.

In Susan's memory and in order to raise funds for the Hospice who continue to provide an amazing service to so many people, suffering from a variety of life limiting illnesses, the following family and close friends are undertaking the 3 Peaks Challenge in July 2019.

Simon Broadhurst - Amy Broadhurst - Beth Broadhurst - Steve Broadhurst - James Refalo - Mark Roberts - Julie Roberts - Niamh Roberts - Sean Roberts - Andrew Coman - Linda Hibbert - Alun Jones - Andy Hughes

Starting at Fort William on Friday 26th July 2019, we will climb Ben Nevis (highest mountain in Scotland), before driving to Scafell Pike in the Lake District (highest mountain in England). Having climbed Scafell Pike, we will then drive to and climb Snowdon (the highest mountain in Wales) and aim to complete all 3 climbs in under 24 hours.

We will be accompanied on the Snowdon climb by Gill Coman, Peter and Laura Hector and Jon and Hannah Coman.
