Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  Special thanks to everyone who has donated so far.

Martin ran the London Marathon 2010 in a time of 3hours 33minutes.  It was his 6th time, although it's 11 years since he last ran this distance (and he's not getting any younger . . . ).

As you know, I work with Veterans and we thought it would be a good opportunity for us to do a little fund-raising for The Royal British Legion (www.britishlegion.org.uk).  As an ex-serviceman himself, Martin has always held the RBL in high regard.  He's a member of the Riders Branch, which is nation-wide branch of motorbike riding ex-servicemen.  If he ever gets his bikes on the road, he might even meet up with them sometime :D

We all know what good work the Royal British Legion do.  Recent events mean that far from having a reducing workload, the Legion's help is as needed and utilized as widely as ever.

We've set a target of £500,

If you have any cash to spare, please donate.  You can use PayPal if you have an account, and even if you don't PayPal will enable you to use your credit card to make your donation.

Any amount that you can give would be great.  Every little bit adds up.  All donations from UK taxpayers will have GiftAid applied (which means the charity will get an extra 25% on top of your donation paid by the tax man!).

Thanks!

Martin and Suzanne
