Story
I'm running the Great South Run on Sunday 28th October with three other work colleagues to raise money for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund. The reason we have chosen this charity is because our friend and colleague, Viv lost both her mum and grandmother to this disease and she is also currently awaiting the test results to see if she carries this particular cancer gene. Viv is also recuperating from recent cancer related surgery, further surgery and another period of recovery will continue next year. Helping the PCRF is something she is passionate about and we feel it is an ideal way in which we can show our support for her. Her courage is amazing!
