As most of you will know On October 25th 2008 our lives changed forever, we were expecting them to as our baby was due to be born by cesarian section in 5 days time. However, things changed and in the middle of the night we were woken by what we thought was our baby trying to do things natures way. Unfortunately it wasn't quite so staright forward, and a few hours later after an emergency cesarian we were told the devastating news that our baby girl, Samantha Mary would not survive off a ventilator. She did however live for a further 8 hours once off it, giving Alun & myself some time to collect a heart full of memories and tell her all about her beautiful sister and brothers. In the days, weeks, months and years since then we have had wonderful support from family and friends and also from SANDS. Tragically every day 17 babies are still born or die before they are a month old, SANDS do amazing work in supporting those affected and continuing to do research into trying to reduce this number. If you can make a donation however big or small i can assure you it will be very well used. Thank you so much xx
