I am fundraising to support both Prostate Cancer UK and Little Princess Trust.

My partner, Dennis, has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I was searching for a way to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK when I came across Little Princess Trust and felt that this would be a great way to help both charities. Cancer is hard for everyone, but a child should not have to worry about losing their hair.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, with over 47,000 new cases diagnosed each year. A simple blood test can detect the first signs of this type of cancer. I want to raise awareness of how prostate cancer can be detected and treated, by organising this event.

Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young adults who have lost their hair due to their cancer treatment. So, on 20th July I will be donating at least 10 inches of my hair to the trust.
