The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In honour of the forthcoming Olympics, Barratt are hosting the first ever Barratt Torch relay. The simulated relay will carry the torch 3,410,600 steps, 1705 miles between all of our 27 divisions (with the potential to go further!) by recording employee steps on a pedometer.

As a team, we're raising money for The Prince's Trust. Set up by The Prince of Wales in 1976, The Prince's Trust works to help young people in difficult situations due to reasons such as trouble at school, run ins with the law, ill health and unemployment. Celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, the charity has helped over 825,000 young people in need and given them a chance to succeed by offering training and support for a better future.

We hope the project fundraises as much as possible so we can offer these great opportunities to people of a similar age to the graduates and apprentices we employ here at Barratt.
