As most of you will know my Dad was a decathlete in his youth and enjoyed challenging himself with long distance running competitions in his 40s. He loved endurance sports but he couldn't do triathlons because he was rubbish at swimming !
He died of cancer in 2012 and I will be competing in his memory - I think he'd be very proud of me taking on a challenge like this.
