Last year as we sat on the roof of a boat partying to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday me and Carole saw some walkers with shiny lights on their persons crossing Tower Bridge. As we waved and cheered them on their way she said she'd love to do the shine walk for cancer and I said, "I'll do it with you."

So that's what we're doing. We are walking a half marathon at night to raise funds for cancer research and any amount you can donate would be fabulous. 

I am doing this for everyone who has been touched by cancer, but in particular for Soraya and Penny who are inspiring and amazing. Also in memory of Helen who was taken so young.
