Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A  small group of us will be doing the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for the Swaziland Schools Project to benefit the students supported through this fantastic charity.

We will also use some funds towards getting Sibusiso Vilane to provide some motivational speaking to these students. Sibusiso worked as a guide in the local community at Malalotja Nature Reserve, before going on to become the first black African to climb Everest and go to the South Pole! Sibusiso now does motivational speaking across South Africa (and beyond!) and is well placed to inspire these local children to achieve their dreams. As a professional speaker, his message is simple: every person has their own "Everest" to climb. Whether you’re prepared for it or not, it’s there - challenging you to reach the top. And if he can do that in the most dangerous and inhospitable of conditions and against all the odds so, he suggests, can others. See link below about Sibusiso:

"The future entirely depends on the education of children, their access to information to broaden their thinking and understanding of the ever-changing and challenging world" says Vilane.

About the charity

We raise money to fund bursaries to pay secondary school fees (which every child has to pay in Swaziland) and to improve school facilities in areas of unemployment and poverty, by building kitchens, classrooms, toilets etc. Our target each year is £10k for bursaries and £30k for building projects.
