Story
On the 3rd weekend of September we (a group of sixth form students from Bedales school) are doing a twenty mile walk across Hampshire's countryside (East Meon to Winchester) to raise money for the Swaziland Project.
We will be heading out to Swaziland this October to work on projects at two schools that Bedales has adopted; Mabalenhle (in 2007) and Thulwane (this year). One of the projects we will be tackling this October is giving much needed water to the Thulwane school for children who walk miles to school everyday. This project alone requires a new water tank, pump and piping which we will be digging then fitting. The money from the walk will solely go to resources and equipment needed as all of the students taking part in the sponsored walk have already paid their individual travelling expenses. We believe as a group that this is a good cause if you do to please give generously too.
