Many of you will know that since we lost Sarah in 1997 her friends and family have raised over £70,000 in her name towards her chosen charity that she often raised money for.

Each year we hold a memorial fun run as a celebration of her life. In what would have been her 40th Birthday Year i thought it would be great to do a few extra challenges to raise some additional money.

On the 15th June i will be swimming 1 mile across Lake Windermere and the following week across Alton water in Suffolk.

Sarah sadly died in a tragic accident in August 1997 at the age of 24. Sarah, who worked at Newham Leisure Centre, was involved in athletics and running for most of her life and also loved music and  DJ'ing.

 a 15 degree and choppy Lake Windermere well and truly conquored in 38mins. Thanks to Lee, Grace, Larry, Frankie, Ellie, Drew, Mum and Dad for the fantastic support! We could hear you across the lake!
