Thanks for visiting our JustGiving Page for Ash's Army! We are a team of healthcare professionals (dentists, pharmacists and optomotrists) being led by Ash who is a sports therapist. Ash is also the team's mentor by providing diet plans and a rigorous exercise programme all in preparation for the upcoming marathon.  Ash will also help and support the team with any pre-existing or on-coming injuries that may occur - it will be his sole responsibility to make sure his team make it through this challenge whilst also helping them gain the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle.

We have completed Mission 1 at the Rivington Half Marathon and raised £645 over our £500 goal. Now we're onto Mission 2 at the Great Birmingham Run and will be aiming to raise £1000. Please help us to support the amazing work that Bolton Hospice do by donating to and sharing our Page so we can raise as much as possible to help them provide specialist care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses.

Every member of the team has known someone who has been affected by cancer or other life-limiting illnesses during their lifetime.  Bolton Hospice provides free, expert palliative care to people aged 18 and over in Bolton with incurable, life-limiting illnesses.  The team at Bolton Hospice is dedicated to improving the quality of life in patients and the people close to them who face the problems associated with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.  Bolton Hospice almost entirely rely on the kindness and generosity of local people to fund their work, as government funding only covers a fraction of their costs.
