Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge · 18 September 2022 ·
A number of Syston RFC club members will be walking 16 miles on Sunday 18th September 2022 on behalf of Charity Link, as part of their Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge. The aim is to raise much needed funds for Charity Link to carry on with the fantastic work and support they provide helping those less fortunate than ourselves.
The off road walk will take between 5-7 hours and takes place in some of Leicestershire's most stunning landscapes. The "3 Peaks" in the challenge are:
- Bardon Hill (88ft short of being classed as a mountain)
- The famous Old John Tower in Bradgate Park
- Beacon Hill
Here is a short note from Charity Link:
"We believe that all local people deserve a decent standard of living, with a right to adequate food, shelter and the means to keep warm, clean and rested – no matter what difficulty they may be facing. We do this by finding funding to provide the essential items that everyone deserves. We can’t do this without the vital support of our donors. Every £10 donated unlocks £50 from charitable trusts and every single penny goes to help local people and children in need."
Your donation, no matter how small, will help Charity Link continue their great work and the team from Syston RFC offer their thanks for your support.
