I am running this half marathon in aid of Our Time because I am passionate to help children whose parents are unable to meet their needs due to mental illness. I value that Our Time provides children a safe space to explore and process their experience and feelings, so that they understand it's not their fault. 

I feel post-Covid and at a time when there is so much financial strain on families, many children are vulnerable to having a parent suffering from mental illness and the implications on them and their future is huge. I want to be able to raise money and awareness, so that children can go on to reach their goals, have stable and secure relationships, and ultimately be fulfilled and content through the support that Our Time offers.
