The #ThrowBackThursday campaign aims to generate awareness and raise funds for the charity by drawing attention to the fact that, while posting images of the past is fun and nostalgic for many, for some burns survivors who desire to look the way they used to, it's agonising.

Many other burned kids bravely accept that their new visage is a positive way to face the future. Their hope is for better function, more than appearance.
