We had a great time at TCX18 - this year in Glasgow, a fantastic city with a global reputation, but one that still has big issues of poverty and homelessness. Our chosen conference charity is Glasgow City Mission who do amazing work to meet vulnerable people's immediate needs (food, shelter, advice) and a wide range of support work to tackle underlying issues and rebuild people's skills, confidence and self-esteem. They run a city centre project, the Glasgow Winter Night Shelter, and also a Child & Family Centre to break the poverty cycle.
