At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Team 338 was set up in August 2013 in memory of Callan McErlain, who died in June 2013, aged just 16, only 7 weeks after being diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of bone and soft tissue cancer.

Callan was a talented motorcross racer, mountain biker and lover of all motor sports. As a tribute to Callan’s love of motor sports, Team 338’s next fundraising challenge is taking part in the Motoscape Banger Rally. The challenge starts in St Omer, France on the 6th September 2014, and involves driving through 12 European countries in 7 days.

The Team for this challenge will be Callan’s mum, Paula, and her good friends Annie & Louise. This event will be raising money and awareness for CLIC Sargent (NI) and Friends of the Cancer Centre.
