Story
It’s the most wonderful time of the year again... the sequins, the glitter, the smell of fake tan looming through the halls... first aid kit on stand by... the haze of hairspray and fear filling the ballroom... yes it can only mean one thing...
Strictly 2018 baby!
Yep we’re back and this time I’m gracing the stage again with my original partner (in crime and dance)... Mr Calum McBurney! We will be taking to the floor to compete for that all important strictly glitter ball. (That I won last year Calum, no pressure. I ain’t letting that thang go).
As much fun, sweat, bumps (and kicks to the head) that it involves, we are of course doing it along with 11 other couples to raise money and awareness for a very special and important, local charity called Cause NI.
CAUSE is a small local charity who support the carers and families of those with mental health issues. One in three of us will suffer from mental health problems at some point in our lives and it is vital that we support not only those who are unwell but also their support system around them. Unfortunately, we live in a world where we are so accepting of any body part breaking down, other than our brains. That is the stigma and it is that which CAUSE aims to stamp out. Therefore any donation you can make, big or small, will be greatly appreciated. More information on the charity can be found on their website: www.cause.org.uk
We have been rehearsing for the last few weeks and the big event is on 3rd November 2018. If you would like to come along and watch the show, drink and be merry and party the rest of the night away with us professional dancers, tickets are £15 each and you can get them by just messaging either Calum or myself.
Any donation big or small will make the world of a difference, and will mean so much to us. So thank you for coming and looking at our page and we’ll...
