Last year my husband and I tried for baby #3. We were thrilled to find out we were expecting but sadly started to miscarry only a couple of weeks later. We lost our first baby at 6.5 weeks. We were lucky enough to get pregnant again soon afterwards and the dark cloud lifted a little. We were once again devastated to find out that I had an ectopic pregnancy at a private 7 week scan. I lost my left tube as a result of a rupture. 

We waited a month and started to try again, and we were nervously excited to find out we were pregnant again in Oct. We had so many good scans, up to 9 weeks, when I just felt different. A trip in to the A&E in Holles St confirmed my worst fears. Our little bean had no heartbeat. We found out weeks later I was carrying a little boy. 

We toyed with the idea of ending our fertility journey there, but decided we would try one last time. I have never been so afraid to see those 2 lines appear. The fear & worry that comes with pregnancy after loss is immense. I was over the moon to know that I could attend Dr. Cathy Allens TLC Pregnancy clinic for women who have had recurrent miscarriages. The clinic is every friday, and brings so much comfort every week, being able to see our little Sparky's heartbeat on the screen. 

I want to raise funds to help this clinic progress and to be in a position to give women who have gone through the most horrific loses, the best comfort and reassurance.
