On Saturday 6th June, the 8th TNFC charity football match will take place at Easton College, Norwich. The Thursday night football inter-club fixture has become one of the highlights of the sporting calender and again will see a group of thirty plus 'athletes' take to the pitch to raise money aid of charity. The 120 minute match will kick off at 3pm and, as usual, promises to be exciting and entertaining with both sides battling for bragging rights and more importantly, the full size replica of the Champions League trophy.

Of course, the taking part is of greater importance than who wins on the day and the objective of the match is to raise a large sum of money for charity. This year, we have selected charities close to home, largely influenced by the memory of Margaret Gridley and in support of Sammy Morgan. All money raised from the event by both players and supports alike will go towards the great work these organisations have done and continue to do for people like Margaret and Sammy throughout the country.

Each of the players will be suitably fined for anything they do either successfully, indifferently or miserably on the day, so we are guaranteed a decent sum of money by the end of proceedings at the post-match party.
