Story

Introducing... HR TREK

On Friday 16 June, 14 of us from the Travis Perkins General Merchanting HR Team are embarking on our mission - the Thames Path Bridge Trek - to raise money for our amazing charity partner Macmillan Cancer Support.

We'll be mooching along 25 kilometres of the Eastenders opening credits, criss crossing 16 of London's iconic bridges, and generally having a bit of a wheeze - we start at Putney and end at Tower Bridge amidst much rejoicing from our weary limbs.

We want to raise as much as possible for Macmillan to support the fantastic work they do. We are also dedicating our trek in memory of Chris Larkin, the Benchmarx Managing Director, who sadly lost his battle with cancer earlier this year. We'll have a Lark for Larkin, if you please!

So, please, if you have a few pennies, please relieve yourself of them in our general direction.  Our target is £1400 (£100 each) so please dig deep if you can. We appreciate there's a lot of demand to support charities, so whatever you can do to help will be amazing.
