Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, the Billy Riordan Memorial Trust have a personal interest for my family, both my brother and father experienced first hand local life in Malawi and how important the work that this charity does for the wellbeing of local people. 

This year they desperately need to replace 10 hospital beds.The beds, which are currently used, are nearly 13 years old and were received second hand when the charity opened!! Currently the cost of a basic hospital bed and mattress is 350 Euro.

To give an idea of smaller costs & where your donation will go:

€5 buys a course of antibiotics for a sick child.

€10 provides bandages and dressings for 2 patients

€20 provides food for 2 hospitalised patients for 1 week.

€35 gives supplementary feeding feeding for six children for 1 week.

The Billy Riordan Memorial Trust depend exclusively on personal donations and do not receive any donor funding from any source
