4 dimension sibling challenge · 18 April 2015

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Our mum, Ishbel, and our eldest brother, Ian, both have MS, Ian having been diagnosed in the last couple of years, while mum has had it since her 20s. It affects our whole family. Cameron (Dad) is main carer for mum and Ian and Carrie have two small kids, aged 4 and 3.

Robbie and Rosel hatched an idea to run various events strategically positioned at the farthest corners of the country to make an adventure out of raising money for the MS Society. They are the Skye 1/2 Marathon in June (deep sigh); the Glamaig Hill Race in July (A race seen fit for Gurkhas to test their metal. Gulp.); the Guernsey Marathon in August (very dry mouth) and the Coast to Coast - 105 mile run/bike/kayak - in September (Aaaaaaaaagh!) These all combine to mean we will run the length (well a race at the top and the bottom), height and breadth of the country over the 4 months. We might have picked the shortest breadth. But it's still going to be tougher than tea and crumpets.

Please do sponsor our adventure and give to the MS Society which has provided so much strategic, practical, emotional and knowledgable support to people living with MS.
