Hello to all you wonderful people. 

Many of you know of the long journey my family and I have been through with kidney failure and the trials it brings. 

I have been looked after by a wonderful team at Hammersmith hospital who need funding for ongoing kidney research. The current, important research is on  antibody mediated rejection (AMR)- a devastating complication that can occur after a kidney transplant when they body's own immune system damaged the new kidney. 

Unfortunately this can mean patients end up back on dialysis. Dialysis is hard, time consuming and despite it being the only alternative treatment, most people struggle to live a normal life. 

We want to help change that. We are doing a 7 mile walk on Sunday 30th June to raise money for Kidney Research UK. 

Whatever you can donate, be it small or big, would make us so happy and grateful.
