ACT helps people sleeping rough in Oxford or leaving local prisons. Through street outreach, meals, prison work, mentoring and housing, we provide the sustained and specialised support people need to rebuild their lives.

Story

Anastasia (9) and Trinity (6) have been worried about those who are homeless in the city of Oxford during the Coronavirus  crisis. They persuaded their Mum (Tamie, a GP) and Dad (Greg, a Vicar) to help them raise money to offer support.  ACT is our chosen charity as they do amazing work among homeless people providing food and shelter and during the crisis are providing daily meals outside St. Aldate’s Church in the city centre. We have decided to raise money by doing a sponsored cycle for our daily exercise on Saturday 9th May, circumnavigating Oxford on the  ringroad cycle path (18 miles) As we do we will pray for the residents and institutions of Oxford - particularly for NHS workers and those affected with the virus.
