Breakthrough Breast Cancer - Prima New Cotswolds Way Challenge · 13 July 2012 ·
So here I am again, thankfully :)
This year I’m upping the ante and doubling the distance, it's only fair if I expect you to put your hands in your pockets ;p
I’m walking the Cotswolds Way, all 24 miles from Nympsfield Hill to Old Sodbury, on the 14th and 15 July! My good friends Sarah Pemble, Sarah Brader, Cristina Maglarotto, Angela Brewster and Diane Burt will be stomping through the hills with me, let’s hope the sun shines on us…
As you probably know I was diagnosed with breast cancer on July 21st 2010. After over 10 hours of surgery (they ‘have the power to rebuild’) and 18 months of treatments (including 6 irritating months of wig wearing), I have been given the all clear – YAY!!
I have two girls, who are now 4 and 6, so I’m always very keen to raise any money which goes towards breast cancer research. My wish is that one day, in the not too distant future, someone will be able to prevent them from being diagnosed with the same cruel disease and/or find better cures.
Thank you so much, for your support - it'll really make a difference, to both my gusto and Breakthrough Breat Cancer :)
