We Fund research into different cancers to Extend and improve the lives of patients

Story

I am running the Cardiff Half Marathon with my husband on October 6th 2019 to raise funds for the Cancer Treatment and Research Centre at Charing Cross Hospital, London.

In 2018 I was diagnosed with a rare cancer. It became apparent at my first and only ultrasound pregnancy scan. The specialist oncology team in Charing Cross Hospital were absolutely fantastic from initial diagnosis and throughout 8 months of chemotherapy. They saved my life and continue to monitor me and many others for life.

The Charing Cross Centre supports research for Gestational Throblastic Diseases, Choriocarcinoma, Ovarian Cancer, Lung Cancer and Testicular Cancer.

The Charing Cross Centre is the world’s largest centre of its kind. It has treated over 2500 patients with the various forms of this cancer and have the largest experience of the choriocarcinoma worldwide. Playing an international leading role in establishing effective treatment and management protocols.

Thank you in advance for you donation 💓
