Cotswold Care Hospice - Fire Walk 2011 · 5 November 2011 ·
As many of you who know me can confirm, I have no internal thermostat and always have cold feet - so I am going to EXTREME measures to warm them up....
I will be walking on hot coals for the Cotswold Care Hospice based in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, on Bonfire Night this year! Yikes! And if the weather is too poor to stoke up the temperature outside, we'll be subjected to walking on broken glass inside instead. So that's ok then!
The Cotswold Care Hospice will be hosting a Bonfire Bonanza throughout the evening (from 4:30pm) where all are welcome to enjoy a big bonfire, entertainment, music, soup/rolls, mulled wine and beer, and traditional games for the little ones. The firewalk will begin at 7:30pm so feel free to come and support/giggle at me!
The Cotswold Care Hospice is an independent charity, founded in 1988 to improve the quality of life for people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses and their families. It is one of three adult hospices in Gloucestershire, employing more than 70 staff and supported by over 600 volunteers. All the care and services are provided free of charge to more than 500 patients, families and carers each year at the Minchinhampton site or in their own homes.
