The big four- oh is approaching and so it seemed like a good time to take on a challenge!

When I applied for a place in the London marathon I never imagined I would succeed...but I did...and the training plan is in place and so far so good!

I have chosen to run for Foal Farm as they are a charity which takes in a variety of animals, tries to re-home those they can but keeps those which are not suitable on the farm. We got Skila from Foal Farm and know how well she was treated in the time she spent there.

I am aware that many people do not consider animal charities as worthy as those which help people, but as a volunteer with a weekly 4 hour commitment to a local charity helping other people I thought on this occasion I would try to support Foal Farm.

I really appreciate the fact that you have come as far as reading this...if you could go a step further and donate then I'd be even more grateful!
