We’re Breast Cancer Now, the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care. We’re here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future. By 2050, we believe everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live – and be supported to live well. But we need to act now.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

i'm cycling from London to Paris from 11th to 13th June 2010... & i know i like cycling BUT the weather is due to be awful and its 200 miles (i've never cycled anything like this before) - & unfort its not downhill..

After a family friend was afflicted last year, i made a pledge to raise £500 in 2010 with the charity organisation - too many women who are an affiliate of Breathrough Breast cancer.

see  www.toomanywomen.co.uk - who are aiming to get as many people involved to raise an affordable £500 over a whole year...

Given i am not going for the 000s of pounds, i thought i'd try the same tactic to get as many as possible of you to pledge just a SMALL donation e.g. £2 to £10.... in fact £20 is the maximum allowed on this page...

so please hit donate - no need to dig so deep but please tell everyone else

Breast cancer is becoming increasingly common - 1 in 9 women are currently afflicted by this disease in their lifetime - q a scary statistic... but the good news is, Breakthru are literally making breakthrough's in cancer knowledge & treatment all the time.

Thanks a million for anything no matter how small,

Tamsin x
