Talking Tandems is a charity setup to help blind and partially sighted people get out cycling. We do this by providing tandem bikes, accessories and volunteer front riders to our members. We aim to help improve health and fitness and promote integration into mainstream society.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A team of five (me included) are cycling from Land's End to John O-Groats to raise money for Talking Tandems. Two of us are blind cyclists. We will be piloted by two volunteer Pilots (front riders) on our tandems for the 1000+ mile journey! Many of the club members will join us at points along the way.

We start cycling on the 2nd of June at Land's End. We'll cycle an average of 55 miles a day aiming to pass through Fife on the 14th & 15th of June. All being well, we will finish the journey at John O-Groats on the 18th!

This is a great opportunity for us to have an adventure while raising money for a great cause. Talking Tandems is a charity setup to help blind and partially sighted people get out cycling. We do this by providing tandem bikes, accessories and volunteer front riders to our members. We aim to help improve health and fitness and promote integration into mainstream society.
