For those lucky enough to survive a stroke, the road to recovery is a long and gruelling one. Once your NHS rehab has finished there is very limited support available... 

LEGS (Local Exercise Groups for Stroke) is a new charity providing rehabilitation in a supportive group environment for stroke survivors in West London. Their classes are physiotherapist-run and provide longer-term rehab to stroke survivors once their NHS rehab has finished. 

LEGS is the first exercise group my family have found in over 10 years that caters for the individual needs of stroke survivors in an enjoyable, caring and supportive environment. The mental and physical benefits of this tailored, goal-based approach to stroke rehabilitation cannot be praised enough.

Currently, LEGS is exclusive to stroke and based in West London, with individuals travelling great distances to attend.
