Story
Hi, (excuse the roughness of the photo 🤣)
As I'm not short of locks, I've decided to spare a few (7) inches in order to fundraise for Maggie's centres. The actual hair will be sent to The Little Princess Trust who make wigs for Children who suffer hair loss.
Maggie's Centres Cheltenham is currently being a massive support to my amazing friend Emily and her children whilst she has treatment for advanced Cancer. They provide physical and mental support as well as workshops for the kids and a network of people to depend on.
I've donated my hair before so I'm sure this time it doesn't seem like as big a deal as last time- but let me tell you- it's bigger! I hate the high maintenance or short hair, it makes me look older, in any kind of humidity I am literally Monica in Barbados, I can't be lazy and knot it on top of my head and it's the coldest time to lose the locks!! So yeah, for me, it is still a big deal but it's one way I can raise a lot of money for this amazing charity that really are doing so much for Em. So please donate what you can and consider a way you can also fundraise for Maggie's- they make a real difference.
