SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon 2016 · 30 October 2016 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On June 21st 2014 our family lost the boss, my amazing granda Pat 'PI'. Thomas and I are taking on the 26.2 mile course of the Dublin Marathon in memory of him,  and for his nanny Betty who is living with Alzheimer's disease

The sad reality is there are millions of people , some of which are in their early 40's living with this disease! We need a cure! Every little bit helps towards this very worthwhile charity.

In memory of Pat Ibbotson 1923-2014
