Story
I've gone mad and decided to enter this event on a whim! 300km of cycling in 24 hours ....and I got on my bike for the first time in 6 months three weeks ago. Trying to get the miles in has been tricky with weather and work but I'm getting there and hope to be ready!
I'm raising money for the gynaecology ward, staff education and to improve care for women with endometriosis. Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women in the UK causing pain and subfertility and despite being so common the average time from symptoms to diagnosis is 7.5 years. Endometriosis costs the UK economy more than £8 billion/year.
I hope that you will be able to contribute and bear in mind the more I raise the more my pain will have been worth it!
