Durrell Challenge 2020 · 27 September 2020 ·

Jersey Zoo is the heartbeat of Durrell, and without it, the charity will not survive. Your support will help care for some of the rarest animals on the planet, recover threatened wildlife and revive natural landscapes around the world.

Story

Te'a my beloved dog was killed on July 17th 2020, we were enjoying a run in the woods after a long day of helping people in need during this very difficult pandemic of Covid-19. All of a sudden this blessing in my life was gone. It was a terrible accident, fast, violent and life changing. Every life in this world is a miracle and it is up to each of us, to try as hard as we can, to do what we can, in the time we are given to help any life in need of protection, care, love and a home. Te'a and I love nature and animals, we know how important their survival during this time of humankind is. They don't destroy their homes, they didn't initiate a pandemic spread of disease, greed and carelessness did. So now the true heart of charity; love, action, devotion and time is coming to their rescue.                                                                                                ''Conservation is Humanity caring for the future'' - Nancy Newhall   ''Tomorrow is just your future yesterday!" - Craig Ferguson
