We are family and friends of Darragh, who is 8 years old, and under the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital due to a rare and complex genetic disorder which needs specialist management.  Thankfully, Darragh enjoys a good quality of life and he is coping brilliantly with his condition, but this would not be possible without the expert care he receives at GOSH, which he will continue to receive until he reaches adulthood.

GOSH's ground breaking research, lead by their team of expert consultants, means we have one of the best children's hospital in the world, on our doorstep, for which we are so grateful.   However, it is not just the medical care that is superb; the emotional and practical support that Darragh and the family have received, since his diagnosis last year, is second to none.  

GOSH can only continue their critical research into rare and complex conditions with the proceeds from ongoing  fundraising efforts from supporters and, for this very reason, a group of us have come together to run a half marathon around London! 

Our team is a mixed bag of ability, so training should be fun (!!) but we all share the common goal of being absolutely committed to raising as much money as possible to help GOSH continue to provide specialist care for children who need it.  Have a look at our photo gallery to read more about our team - a small blog will appear if you hover over each photo.  We will also update our page regularly with various fundraising  activities in the run up to the main event on 12th October.
