The Mongol Rally · 15 July 2017

Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation. We work in over 70 countries - in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. We are independent, neutral and impartial. We provide medical care where it's needed most.

Story

We are Aaron, Callum and Ryan, and in July we will be attempting to complete the Mongol Rally! Before we head off, Ryan and Aaron will also be attempting, despite their lazy tendencies, a half Iron triathlon!

Team Diagon Rally consists of two medical students (Aaron and Ryan) and one mechanics student (Callum), we hope our diverse range of skills will help us get from London to Ulaanbaatar.

The rules of the rally stipulate we can only have a 1litre engine that we'll have to take over the mountains of Georgia, through the desert steppes of Kazakhstan and other tough terrain our vehicle is definitely not suitable for!

But first we need your help to raise money for Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

Our route will take us through Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan where MSF are helping the local population against multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). We hope to showcase the great work MSF are doing and help raise money for them to keep helping people in isolated and hostile environments.

Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading emergency medical humanitarian aid organisation. They provide emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural or man-made disasters, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. MSF work in over 60 countries and go to the places where others cannot or choose not to go.

Any donation towards this cause would be greatly appreciated!
