My mum was the most amazing mum ever. She taught me everything I know and is a huge inspiration to many. In 2013 mum was diagnosed with cancer but she didn't let this bring her down, she never lost her smile, sense of humour and always made everyone happy whether she was dancing around the hospital or just being her cheerful self! The amount of support we received from family and friends was incredible and mum was so grateful for that. Christmas 2014 was fantastic, the whole family got together and mum seemed happier than ever, we had so much fun and I will always remember mums smiling face. Sadly in January 2015 mum was taken into hospital where she was sadly told that she wasn't going to make it. I think the bravest thing my mum ever did was tell me and my brother herself that she wasn't going to make it, this just shows how brave she was. Her final days were spent in St.Raphaels hospice where I slept over and spent precious time with her, her smile kept beaming to the very end. On February 16th 2015 mum passed away with her mum by her side. She was the best mum, wife, daughter, sister and friend anyone could of wished for and she will remain in all of our hearts forever.

Mums brave and positive attitude has inspired me to do something for charity, I have organised a run in which me and my friends ( " team Emily") will run just over 5km around local parks on June 25th 2016 in memory of mum. Thank you all for your support by donating to Team Emily.
